Chiang Mai International Lanna Music Festival: with Thai Street Food Vendors

This year's International Lanna Music Festival was especially unique, since there were many acts from foreign countries, including, Kenya, France, The USA, Korea and China.
The music was varied, and some was very well received by the crowd. I was particularly interested in the food vendors who were chosen to cook, and sell their specialties. Thank you for looking at this post, Please let me know what you think, and please take a look at our Original and easy to follow Thai cook books.

Here is a perfect display of Pork Satay!
The sauce makes or breaks this grilled delicacy.
The stage was fairly large, and there were over 600 tables and chairs,
for visitors to sit, eat, drink, and socialize.

Squid, mussels, octopus, and squid eggs.
This was beautiful set up, and
the squid was soft and chewy.

Large fresh water prawns were available,
although they are $3 per plate!

Chicken Feat were the rage.
I am sorry that I didn't have any, but I was
hungry for a more filling meal.

Mixed seafood fried rice.

Here are some un-cooked crabs,
to be mixed into Som Tam
Thai Salad.

If you like Mushrooms, this was your night.
Check out these local varieties.
Unbelievable. I had unreal some Mushroom Soup,
photographed below.

These banana leaves are filled with rice, pork, and vegetables.
This was a traditional take to work lunch in the old days.

Boiled Pork Leg, in thick stew.
This a favorite of mine while living Thailand.
Served over rice, it is very savory.

Small Ocean cultivated clams.
They are very inexpensive, but I didn't have any.
In the past they have always been good, and a little cherry clam comes out.

Bacon wrapped around small
needle head Mushrooms!
I ate three shish-ka-bobs of these.

Some home made pork dumplings. Chinese style,
and served with a vinegar sauce.

Sliced pork loin in sweet red pork sauce.
A must for every visitor to Thailand.
Over noodles even better!

Some fresh mushrooms on this glass noodles.
With Onion and garlic.

I usually don't eat odd mushroom soups, but this one looked particularly delicious, and I had to try.
It was simply amazing.
