Tasty Pork Satay with Sticky Rice

Here are some really good marinated pork satay sticks with sticky rice.
We love to eat them at food stalls in Thailand, but now that we are in the US,
we have to make them ourselves.

Apple Harvest in Maine!

Once again,  it was time for the apple harvest in Maine.

Our farm has about 20 apple trees,  and we picked the ripe apples according to their varieties.

Here are the three main types that we have.

They look great together!
I am getting the apple peeler ready for use.

We first peeled the apples, and then made apple butter, jam, and apple sauce.

It was a great harvest, and we have made enough apple jam and butter for the whole next year!

As well as enough to make presents!

Ploy relishes in looking at the apples.

I love the green ones. They were so sweet and tasty!

Ploy is now a Sushi Girl! Hand made Sushi and Japanese Sushi Rolls

Ploy has learned to make Japanese Sushi. Our friend taught Ploy so that she could help him in his restaurant. After many days of training, Ploy has learned to make it on her own, and operate the shop alone.
Take a look at the amazing Sushi Ploy has made.
Delicious!!!!

Sea Lions on the California Coast

The baby sea lions at the beach in Southern California were a sight to see.

They are all nestled in together near the Hearst Castle, along the Pacific Ocean.

There were babies, mothers and fathers.

Most of them were just looking for a tan.

Some of them must have weighed over 2,000 pounds.

They slept together, like two people on a blanket on the beach.

Here is a family of three sea lions.

Mommy, daddy and newborn baby!

The sea-lions dotted the landscape, and if you drove by fat, you may just think they were all just big boulders, as they are not regularly moving.

Just a quick selfie to say good bye to my new friends!
